Fear God and keep His commandments. that's it right there.
but life is not so simple.
we complicate it and we allow other things to complicate it.
how sometimes we wish life were as simple as what we read or watch.
but it isn't.
life imitates art.
but that is only because in the first place art imitated life.
it's too reductive and simplistic to confine life to following patterns in art.
