to my expected disappointment, this recent taking up of knitting has been received with the usual disbelief, speculations, and suaning.
yesterday at mr lim's house i worked on my bro's "scarf" while watching some reality program. i guess it was silly of me to expect others to be a bit more open-minded.
thoroughly suaned by mr lim and ms lee(take that!).
then later at night round 2 from my aunts when my cousins came over to celebrate nellis' birthday, not to mention a barrage from uncle william...hai..
been a while since i was last the object of such ridicule.
time to exercise that age-old anti-suan technique.
you think you know someone. then he reveals something that completely blows your mind away.
like when someone tells you that he para paraed for years. or when u find out that someone blogs. or when you discover that some people are afraid of cockroaches. or when someone tells you that he likes someone.
things that others do that you never guessed they would do. makes you wonder how well you know a person. i think there are many things to be discovered about others. nobody is all as he seems.
when people say,
"you are the last person that i'd ever thought would do this"
or
"this is so unlike the you that i know."
then this is where aizen's words are applicable.
"that's because you never knew the real me."
