after spending an afternoon at orchard road(ian was late, which left me time to kill wandering around the place), i realise that it's no big deal because there's nothing there.
it's just shop after shop after shop after shop after shop of CLOTHES.
gah...why do people like going there so much?
and it's so busy and kan cheong...
or is that why people like going there?
because there are clothes(an endless supply of it) and it's bustling with life?
but would you call THAT life?
it's just a mass of individuals travelling around aimlessly, all trying to pass the time away until the day they die.
they move down the never-ending row of shops, looking for things to draw their attention away from the fact that they don't know what to do with their life.
does that sound a tad too cynical?
i felt that way when i was wandering around trying to kill time. and i imagined how terrible it would feel if i had to experience that every single day....
having absolutely no idea about anything in life.
hmm..
that was how it used to be. but i felt nothing.
