didn't really do much today,
spent most of the afternoon napping on the floor with the same song playing over and over and over again.

as usual, the house tripped again today, three or four times in the evening.
at first didn't trip, just that ah kong's t.v. couldn't work so went to do something about it.
then dad came home and then it started tripping..
seems like the problem most likely is the wall socket in ah kong's room...

dad's all hyped up about getting a new amplifier. he's been visiting his favorite website: yahoo auctions...
removed the study room speakers and replaced it with the amp and speakers from his room.
definitely sounds better, sure...but it's way too big for the comp in my opinion...and it's hard to adjust their projection direction(now they aren't pointing at me...and that affects what i hear..)
but well, he seems happy about it, so gotta find some way to adjust i guess.

went downtown to pick mom from some conference just now.
then we went over to liang court for dinner cos it was nearby and cos mr spherical wanted curry rice(though in the end he didn't eat that).
liang court, the 'japanese mall'.

saw quite a number of japs there. somehow, they have a particular look that makes it easy to identify them.
like last week, went to eat lunch at bedok camp with my dad and bro. saw these 3 toddlers(maybe 3 to 4 years old?), and guessed by the length of their hair, their clothes, their eyes and their skin tone that they were japs...heh, true enough i was right.
they each had a duck whistle and 2 were blowing it and making a racket(sort of..actually not that loud lah).
then the one that was not blowing shouted "mo urusaiii~~!!"
haha, very cute the 3 of them...tried to record them using my phone, but too much ambient noise, so can't really hear them talk. but it was funny.

seems like the trip to tokyo's been settled. me and the round guy will go first then my parents will join us later...then i'll come back first. lidat can go and make my folks happy and yet won't miss anything at home. genius. wahaha.

tomorrow got mj open house.

last year open house was bearable(although still a colossal waste of my time..)
i hid in a classroom and watched anime with chamcham. occasionally, we'd stop to eat or surf the net using the wireless connection from the nearby residential apartments..
but i told jasel i'd help out this year so seems like i'm mending the store tomorrow with the rest of the gang. must bring something to do..if not confirm bored to death..
see how lah.

but tomorrow night...ah that'll be cool. cycle, catching and supper for kc's birthday! maybe sleep in the day to store energy for the night. hey, theat's a good idea...
