my bro's been watching some korean drama dvd...my girl it's called...he likes it.
my dad's watching it with him right now in fact.
heh, according to my dad, someone passed it to him for my mom to watch, and the way it looks, i think she'll like it too...
it's gonna be the usual process, just skip some parts...

usually it'll be
1. discover entertaining drama on tv.
2. faithfully watch drama everytime it airs. record if unable to do so.
3. become impatient and end up buying/borrowing the entire series.
4. try to moderate the amount watched. usually failing and watching until insane late hours.
5. decide to one time whack the series and get it over with quick.

this applies to my mom and it sometimes spills over into my dad, bro, and, on rare occasions, me.
some of the series that have gone through this process include huan zhu gege, full house, winter sonata, jie da huan xi, the gentle crackdown, shen diao xia li, and many other series that i cannot remember the name, never knew the name, or just can't remember...

apparently this series is gonna be next.
though somehow, i realise i've never really taken a partcular liking to korean shows.
as compared to jap dramas, i can remember some that i enjoyed very much, but korean dramas don't really appeal to me...

one thing is i don't get the language. just can't seem to get any grasp on it.
but usually my mom watches it dubbed so that means it isn't really the issue.
maybe it's the way they look, and their acting...
i find that those that i've seen so far have parts that are way over-exaggerated. i think. like more than(and i feel like really way more) jap shows. i'm not very sure, i'm just trying to guess...

and their fashion sense i find a tad weird and VERY contrary to my taste.
dyed, thick hair with not much of a undistinguishable shape for guys and some wear ear-rings and necklaces too....not my cup of tea.
girsl not that bad compared to guys...just some funny jewelry sometimes and clothes with weird, bright colour combis and cuts that don't really appeal to me...

if anything, these are what come to mind for now...maybe i shld go and watch some eps and try and find out what it is that bothers me...if it indeed does...
haha, maybe i'm wrong and i become some fan of korean dramas...
