i overheard this business plan by 2 very questionable entrepreneurs...
these 2 business men want to open a video rental shop in future.
only, all their dvds will be spoilt.
so when people borrow their dvds, the customers will realise that the dvds can't be watched and they will go back to ask for a replacement.
here's the plan, the shop will then say that the customer spoilt the dvd and will ask for compensation.
if the customer doesn't report the disc as spoilt, the shop will simply test the dvd, say that it is spoilt and ask for compensation anyway.
so money will come from both rental and compensation!
brilliant business plan. good thing i was there to eavesdrop and put an end to this scam.

do NOT patronise this shop ever in future.
the businessmen involved are thaddeus chan and phua wee long.
beware of these frauds...

i went to vivocity today to catch the finals of pumpfest '09
....which were being held at velocity.

*bangs head on table a second time today*

not just any regular bike.
a MOTORBIKE.
KENNY'S MOTORBIKE.
which he claims can go up to 240kmph.
waha. we went really really fast on the highway and i was just thinking how nice it must be to go so fast and how i want to go so fast too.
i was also thinking how far i would fly if i banged into something while travelling so fast. by God's grace, we didn't....thankfully.(at the same time unfortunately)
too bad my bike cant go so fast.
guess i'll just have to make do with my 30kmph speed...

at least i'll win if we race pushing our bikes...

flew off on eva air economy class.
came back on eva air business class.
went there watching nothing.
came back having watched wolverine, taken(which is imba btw and should be watched by all ns men and regular folk alike who are in opposition to slave trade and kidnapping and who are fans of angry loving fathers like liam neeson), the fast and the furious 4, gran torino...

fought alongside some very crazy soldiers. i too am strong now...

my house has gone through a major makeover.
finally got my room.
new tv entered the picture.
new bicycle on the road.
got lotsa duty this week.
borrowed 3 movies and stocked up ipod with climbing vids.
plus $41 worth of junkfood in my cupboard. protected from dangerous cats with my trusty lock!
i am ready for the rest of the week.
